Jim's Corner Cafe will be closing their doors next week. I believe next Wednesday is their last day.

Sad to lose yet another restaurant in downtown Brunswick. They had been in that corner spot for many years now.

Talking to the waiter there he said they just are not doing enough business. "People still come here for lunch, but a large group might come and 3 or 4 people are bringing their own sandwiches with them. Folks just cannot afford to eat out as much. Some lost their life savings."

Very sad to see this happening. I wish the owners and the employees all the best in their future endeavors.
