Crabdaddy's Seafood Grill is nearly always my first recommendation for anyone seeking casual dining and a great meal in the Golden Isles, especially newcomers and fish lovers.

Their menu features Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Salmon and Tuna which can be grilled, cajun blackened, steamed, fried, or prepared as one of the daily specials topped with their signature sauces. I have tried and liked all of the daily specials.

My favorite by far is their Pan Seared Tuna, perfectly seasoned and served rare with wasabi sauce, soy sauce and seaweed salad on the side. My taste buds compel me to order it almost every time.

Other entrees include several crab, seafood, and pasta dishes, one of the best Angus Beef filets on the island, pork chops, chicken and more.

All entrees come with warm, fresh baked bread and a garden salad served family style with three tasty homemade dressings to choose from. Entrees also include a choice of side dish. I love the asparagus, green bean casserole, cheese grits, and red beans and rice. It's always a tough choice, so many times I get two.

For dessert get the luscious Crème Brûlée or the Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce. Better yet, get both and share!

Service is second to none and long time proprietors Charlie and Josh Williams always make you feel at home. Reservations are not required but are advised, especially on weekends or during peak tourist season.

I'm betting your first visit won't be your last.
