Want to know where to get the best sandwich in town?

Not many people seem to know about this place, so I wanted to mention it. Not far from Wal-Mart on the corner of Altama and Altama Connector is a Taqueria named La Salsa.

This hidden gem not only serves some killer Carne Asada, but has the best sandwich in town.

Just go to the counter and order the BBQ Torta. No need to say anything else in Spanish. You are done!

The sandwich is Mexican BBQ with onions and peppers, jalapenos, avocado, tomato, some special sauce, and absolutely killer bread. All toasted to perfection.

Make sure to get some "old school" Coke while you are there (made with sugar and in a bottle).

Killer Sandwich

This sounds terrific. Can't wait to try it.

Best Sandwich Confirmed!

I had this sandwich last night and it definitely lives up to its billing. I had the BBQ Torta as recommended and I can't wait to go back and try the Carne Asada and Chicken Tortas. The bread is terrific, perhaps the best I've had on any sandwich. When asked, the manager said he would sell me some torta bread and I plan to get some in the future for sandwiches at home. Also, in addition to the "old school" Coke, they offer a surprisingly wide variety of beers for such a small restaurant including my favorite Mexican beer, Negro Modello. Thanks for introducing me to this sandwich and restaurant!
