I am constantly amazed at how many people living in the area do not know about Twin Oaks. Twin Oaks is a local landmark and probably should be listed within the official historic register of Brunswick.

Twin Oaks has been in business since the drive-in era of the 50's. Back then you would drive up and be served while sitting in your car. Twin Oaks is more of sit-down restaurant now, but they still do provide drive-in service -- just park to the right side of the restaurant and someone will take your order.

Twin Oaks is famous mostly for two things -- their barbecue and the french fries. The barbecue is of the chipped variety and is served dry. Cover with sauce to your liking. The fries are still the best in the area. They are homemade and are wonderfully battered.

They also serve very good burgers, have daily blue plate specials, veggies, and more.

If you have not been to Twin Oaks before, do yourself a favor and check out this great Brunswick, GA landmark.

Note that Twin Oaks is strictly a lunch establishment. They are not open for dinner.
