Downtown Brunswick

• Downtown Brunswick is a great, old-fashioned affair.
• There are games for children, contests such as a hula-hoop contest, and more fun.
• It is much less crowded than St. Simons Island or even Jekyll Island for the holiday proceedings. The easiest site to get in and out of.
  

Suggested for:  Those who dislike crowds and are not necessarily into the beach scene.

St. Simons Island

• St. Simons has a lot going on for 4th of July. There are booths with food and goodies, moon bounces, games, and slides for the kids, live music and much more.
  
• The downside is that it is crazy crowded. You have to get there early just to get a good spot to sit and camp out. Driving home back to the mainland can be very painful.
  

Suggested for: People living on St. Simons or partiers interested in the post fireworks bar and live music scene.

Jekyll Island

• Jekyll is my personal favorite. It is kind of the best of both worlds.
  
• Awesome beach views of fireworks, but less crowded and easier parking than St. Simons.
  
• They also have live music, food booths, and activities also.
  

Suggested for: Everyone that feels St. Simons is a bit too crowded, but enjoy the beach fireworks scene.
