I just read in the Darien News today about a man that needs a heart transplant. His name is Jerrod Francis and the right side of his heart is 70% damaged and taxing the left side. He is in such bad shape that he can no longer work and is only 31 years old.
If he can raise $10,000, the American Heart Association will match the rest and he will have the $20,000 to get his name on the transplant list.
If you can spare some money, this sure sounds like someone that could use it:
