Coastal Georgia's Largest Indoor Playcenter

A visit to the huge new Richmond Hill fun spot with an arcade, two-story laser tag, and large bounce house and slide area.

Modern Big Ball Bowler Machine

In the Golden Isles we are severely lacking of good places to take kids for indoor fun. Several years ago Strike Zone opened up with a nice and shiny arcade, but now that arcade has grown tired with old games and many that no longer function. The Glynn Place Mall arcade closed years ago and the movie theaters no longer have games in the lobby.

What's a kid to do on a rainy (or smoky) day?

Well we now have an option that just opened in Richmond Hill (about 45 miles north of Brunswick right off of 95). The place is called Jump N' Jacks and it is brand spanking new (and huge).

Jump N' Jacks Bouncin'Bounce Area

One area is filled with huge inflatable bounce houses, slides, and obstacle courses. My kids (8 and 10) literally can spend hours in there. The charge is $8 per child for all you can eat...er bounce.

Arcade

The arcade is filled with a lot of deluxe and unusual games. Sure there are plenty of driving video games (eight that I can count) -- but there also are a few virtual reality type of games, a large pirate ship game, a totally cool bowling game, and the huge Terminator Salvation shooting game.

Overall it is a decent selection, the unusual games are especially nice to see. But where are the pinball machines??? They could use a few of those for older patrons bringing their children. The new Tron Legacy pinball machine was just released, that would look great in here.

Laser Tag

Another area of this huge complex is the Laser Tag arena. This is a two-story arena with your standard obstacles, hiding spots, and black lighting. It is very well done and the equipment works flawlessly.

The charge is $6 per competitor. Competitors are split into two teams. The length of play seemed to be around 15 minutes and was great fun.

More Stuff

Some other tidbits to pass on:

  • They have a snack bar serving food and drinks.
  • There is seating for parents to work or hang out while kids are playing.
  • They have free WiFi (I am using it now!).
  • There is a 32 foot rock climbing wall. $5 for 3 climbs.

In summary, my kids really love this place. "It rocks!" After going last week, they were already begging to come back. There just is nothing like this in Golden Isles, so we are happy to drive a bit to get here. An especially great escape during these recent horrible air quality days.
