Why I Love My Kindle

I have always loved to read, but old eyes are not like old wine. It has rekindled my love of reading by bringing in the world's great literature to me through my Kindle. Its pages have the look of freshly inked paper with the ability to size the text to match your eyes. This eliminates the need for reading glasses.

Currently I have 17 books stored in my library. Most best sellers cost $9.99. Older books and most of the classics are less. You can download many books for free.

A recent Time Magazine arts section on books noted that:

  • Madeline Albright is reading War and Peace on her Kindle.
  • Martha Stewart uses her Kindle to store 38 books and keep up with the New York Times  and Wall Street Journal.
  • T. Boone PIckens is breaking in his new Kindle by downloading various newspapers.

If you love to read? This is for you.

PS: If anyone is reading this? My son would love to have one for his Birthday next month.
